Fribourg-based start-up ODYTICS offers an innovative automated inventory solution for road and industrial pavements, based on patented high-resolution geolocalized orthophotography technology (millimeters per pixel) coupled with an image processing software platform.
The on-board system developed by ODYTICS enables data to be acquired without any disruption to traffic. Specialized artificial intelligence algorithms automatically identify inventory items (road markings, joints) and weak signs of deterioration (cracks, crazing) for preventive pavement maintenance.
