A new digital platform enabling teachers to share and sell their school documents and resources in just a few clicks – that’s the innovation of the young company Partager Apprendre, which has just joined our support program.
Online since October 2021, the Partager-Apprendre.ch platform is a first in Switzerland. It enables teachers to upload teaching resources of their own creation, whether text or graphics, and then share them free of charge or sell them at a price of their choice. On the site, visitors can easily browse through the available resources using filters such as teaching level, branch or price.
Sarah and Anis Saihi, co-founders of Partager Apprendre, have designed a digital marketplace for centralizing and sharing quality resources adapted to the Swiss school system. A primary school teacher who knew that no such system existed until now, Sarah drew on her personal experience to come up with a way for teachers to save time. Since its launch, the platform has already seen 950 registrations, 37,938 downloads and 823 document sales. At the same time, the team is also developing new solutions to facilitate the digitalization of teaching. These could potentially become an asset in the digital education strategy recently presented by the Fribourg State Council.
With a potential market of over 97,000 teachers in Switzerland, of which just under a third are in the French-speaking part of the country, and its pioneering position in this sector, Partager Apprendre has fully convinced the Fri Up team of its potential. The co-founders still face major challenges, notably ensuring the impeccable quality of the documents posted online, and securing their business model to enable rapid growth. We will be supporting this start-up on these points, as well as in the areas of market analysis, intellectual property, marketing and, subsequently, expansion into German-speaking Switzerland.
