- Data relating to the project or company: name of the project or company, project description, classification of the activity and exchanges, sector, stage of development, legal form;

It should be noted that some of the data listed above does not as such constitute personal data within the meaning of the FADP, insofar as it relates to a company. It may, however, be linked to the natural person(s) behind the project (e.g. the founder of a start-up).
4. Purposes of processing
Your data is processed for:
- organising and managing advisory meetings and appointments;
- supporting business creation and the development of start-ups;
- assessing financing applications and managing relations with the Seed Capital Fribourg Foundation;
- organising workshops and events, and managing registrations;
- managing membership as a Fri Up member;
- coordinating with our ecosystem partners;
- referring and exploring questions further with specialist partners for additional advice and expertise;
- producing statistics and activity reports, based on aggregated or anonymised data;
- keeping a record of the organisation's activities;
- complying with our legal obligations.
5. Legal basis
Depending on the case, processing is based on the performance or preparation of an advisory, support or assessment service, on Fri Up's legitimate interest in fulfilling its cantonal mission to support entrepreneurship, on compliance with legal obligations and, for communication (newsletter, information about services), on your consent. You can withdraw this consent at any time, without retroactive effect.
6. Tools and service providers (processors)
To operate, Fri Up relies on service providers who process certain data on its behalf, under appropriate contracts and security measures. These providers only use your data for the agreed purposes. Our service providers include standard IT tools, artificial intelligence tools, specialist software (e.g. CRM, accounting) and communication and collaboration tools. The detailed list of providers used can be provided to you when you exercise your right of access.
The friup.ch website is hosted by Infomaniak Network SA, a Swiss company whose servers and data centres are located in Switzerland. Technical browsing data is therefore hosted in Switzerland.
We only use artificial intelligence tools in professional versions that offer contractual data protection guarantees and exclude the use of submitted content to train their models.
Your data is never sold, rented or passed on to third parties for advertising purposes.
7. Data transfers abroad
Some providers may process or host data outside Switzerland, in the European Union and the United States. For transfers to the United States, Fri Up ensures that appropriate contractual safeguards are in place with the provider.
8. Recipients and sharing
Your data is shared with the Seed Capital Fribourg Foundation as part of assessing a financing application, and with your consent (or where required by law) as part of our mission:
- with the Fribourg Economic Development Agency (PromFR),
- with ecosystem partners that provide state support or funding for business creation, start-ups or innovation;
- with the technical providers listed in article 6, strictly to the extent necessary;
- with the authorities, if required by a legal obligation.
As an exception, your data may be freely shared with Fri Up's partners for advisory and specialist expertise purposes, without systematic prior consent being required for each transfer. These partners may only use your data to respond to our request.
Information submitted as part of a project or financing file is treated confidentially by the staff and bodies concerned.
9. Retention period
Your data is destroyed or anonymised when it is no longer needed for the purposes set out in article 4, or when you expressly request its deletion. Please note, however, that in some cases data may be subject to a legal obligation to retain it for a defined period, or we may have a legitimate interest in retaining it for a limited period.
10. Data security
Fri Up implements reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or alteration: restricted access to files, protected accounts, backups, and use of providers offering recognised security standards. As no system is infallible, absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
11. Your rights
Under the FADP, you have the following rights over your data at any time, under the conditions and within the limits set by law:
- Right of access: to obtain more information about the processing of data concerning you;
- Right to rectification: to have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected;
- Right to erasure: to request deletion of your data, subject to legal retention obligations or other grounds recognised by law;
- Right to object and restrict: to object to certain processing;
- Right to data portability: to receive your data in a common format;
- Right to withdraw your consent at any time, where processing depends on it.
To exercise your rights, write by registered post to Fri Up's head office. You will receive a reply within 30 days (if, exceptionally, this deadline cannot be met, we will let you know).
12. Cookies and browsing
