Support and training: help available to Fribourg business founders
While some skills can be delegated, others will need to be acquired or brought up to date through training. And for everything else, a dense network of support organisations is available to entrepreneurs in the canton of Fribourg and in Switzerland.
What training do I need?
The question to ask yourself is: do I need particular certifications, licences if my profession is regulated, or simply a refresher in a particular area?
There is a huge range of training on offer, including MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses) open to everyone. It is up to each person to find the course that best suits their needs, schedule and budget.
Fri Up's business creation workshops
In spring and autumn, Fri Up organises business creation workshops in partnership with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the canton of Fribourg (CCIF). There are also highly targeted training courses run by Fri Up's partners:

Where can I find help for my project?
In addition to the support offered by Fri Up, several organisations support business founders:
Supports the development of existing companies and new businesses settling in the Fribourg agglomeration.
Supports start-up and expansion projects for technology companies, SMEs and large companies. Also see their “Support measures” document for an overview of the help available.
EasyGov, the national portal and online counter for setting up a business, simplifies administrative procedures. SECO also leads the Confederation's SME policy.
