Choosing your bank: your company's financial partner
Your choice of legal form will have financial repercussions for your company, from the capital needed to set it up to obtaining financing and applying for credit, and on to the options for selling or passing on the business.
Keeping private and business affairs separate
Whatever legal form you choose, it is important to keep private and business affairs clearly separate, including your bank accounts. This separation simplifies your accounting, clarifies your tax situation and gives your company a professional image.
The capital deposit account for corporations
For corporations (LLC/Sàrl, SA), the financial start involves officially paying in the share capital. To do this, your bank opens a capital deposit (escrow) account in which the funds needed to set up the company are deposited.
After registration in the commercial register, the funds are transferred to a business account and become available for your day-to-day operations: managing cash, collecting and paying invoices, paying salaries, etc.
Much more than an account
Your bank can advise you on a wide range of services you may need for your business, depending on the nature of your products or services, the size of your company, your sector and your national or international operations: payments, cards, loans, leasing, investments, pensions...
