Impractical, redundant, time-consuming – in 2022, project management in Swiss architectural and engineering offices is far more complicated than one might imagine.\nThis is due to the lack of software specifically adapted to the needs of the profession.\nFribourg-based start-up Goplan aims to change all that with an innovative solution. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n

The idea for Goplan came to co-founder Tristan H\u00f6rler while he was working in an engineering office.\nIn a field where plans are subject to change on a daily basis, he was lacking an IT tool that would enable him to act quickly and keep an overview of current projects.\nSo he started by developing a small software package himself to meet these needs.\nCongratulated on the usefulness of this program, he decided to continue the adventure by launching Goplan with three other people. <\/p>\n\n

The Goplan platform does not replace the software already used by architects and engineers.\nIt is a simple, efficient interface that integrates and synchronizes existing processes, while offering additional functionalities specially designed for their needs.\nFor example, Goplan makes it possible to manage ongoing projects in a collaborative way, sharing resources such as plans or photos of a construction in just a few clicks, and discussing them in real time.\nThe software creates a direct link between architects’ and engineers’ offices.\nThis avoids wasted time and mistakes that can have major financial consequences.\nEvery piece of information is saved in a history file, making it easy to retrace the course of a project. <\/p>\n\n

With its solution, Goplan is responding to a glaring lack of digitalization in architects’ and engineers’ offices.\nIts four founders have the ambition of rapidly becoming the national reference in this field.\nThis entrepreneurial spirit convinced Fri Up.\nOur team will support Goplan in establishing a commercial strategy that will enable them to conquer the Swiss and international markets.\nWe will also support the development of their software, financial management and fundraising.\nGoplan has also received initial financial support from the Seed Capital Fribourg foundation. <\/p>\n\n
