Fri Up is pleased to support the Singapore-based start-up Prezit, founded by Alex Baechler. His invention: a household waste garbage can with a compression system.
No more dipping your fingers into a jam-packed garbage bag to save a few centimetres of space. With Prezit, all you have to do is close the lid and step onto it. The waste is crushed with the weight of the whole body and then compressed permanently using a special system. More hygienic, this process triples the amount of garbage that can be contained in a conventional 35-litre bag. Modest in size, the Prezit bin can be placed on the floor or installed in a sliding cabinet under the kitchen sink.
To finance the production of his first series, Alex Baechler launched a Wemakeit campaign at the beginning of February. We’re delighted to be accompanying the man from the Canton of Aachen in the launch of his start-up, and to support him in various areas, such as development planning, marketing and communications.
