We’re delighted to be working with the Go By Yourself (GBY) team.
This start-up designs three-wheeled electric bicycles – or “trikes” in English – that enable people with reduced mobility to get around on any terrain.
The trike also features a major innovation that benefits paraplegics, quadriplegics and hemiplegics in particular: hand-powered, the trike also drives the rider’s legs via a second crankset.
In this way, a sporting outing simultaneously becomes a therapeutic outdoor exercise session.
We are supporting GBY in the creation of a network of partners and in its commercial launch.
As a first result of our efforts, the start-up has already been granted a CHF 100,000 zero-interest loan by the Seed Capital Fribourg foundation.
This sum will be used, for example, to finance the transformation of the trike prototype into a marketable version.
