We are pleased to support two new start-ups from our Nord incubator in Murten
Archinisis: Founded by Benedikt Fasel from the canton of Singen, the start-up Archinisis is an EPFL spin-off active in movement and performance analysis for elite athletes. It has developed a small sensor, the size of a car key, which can be attached to equipment or directly to the athlete’s body. A cross-country skier, for example, can use it to measure speed, cadence and amplitude of movement. The data is processed in real time by software and immediately made available to the athlete and his or her coach. The sensor can also be synchronized with a camera that films the workout. The data collected can then be displayed live on the image in the form of computer graphics.
Digitale Welt Hunziker: Digitization. This term is on everyone’s lips these days, not least those of the Fribourg State Council, which has made the digital revolution the focus of its legislature. But for many companies, digitalization remains a vague and sometimes even worrying concept. Helping them to take the plunge is the mission of the start-up founded by Murten-based Christof Hunziker. This specialist in business IT develops tailor-made solutions for all types and sizes of company. He can create the digital tools that will enable, for example, an SME to optimize its business model, or a hairdresser to switch to an online booking system. In addition to developing solutions, Christof Hunziker supports and advises companies in their digital turnaround.
