We’re delighted to be supporting two new Fribourg start-ups from September 1, 2019!3sigmas: This start-up specializes in monitoring large natural or man-made structures, such as dams, bridges or cliffs.
Its innovation lies in its method.
Contrary to the usual practice of monitoring specific points, 3sigmas is able to monitor the evolution of a very large surface over an extended period.
It combines lasergrammetric measurements and high-resolution photos to detect both depth movements and surface changes.
Ultimately, 3sigmas can determine whether a crack, stain or movement represents a danger, or whether it’s harmless. Varefa: Going on vacation with a suitcase in each hand can be a perilous exercise.
To make life easier for travelers, Varefa has developed a magnetic system that enables two suitcases to be quickly attached to each other and moved with just one hand, as if they were one.
Extremely resistant, Varefa’s system can be installed on any model, passes unhindered through metal detectors and avoids unpleasant coordination exercises.
