Sein Team ist auf nichtinvasive orthop\u00e4dische Behandlungen spezialisiert und hat eine innovative Schiene entwickelt, die bei Knochenbr\u00fcchen einen chirurgischen Eingriff ersetzen kann.<\/strong>\r\n\r\nDas Start-Up benutzt dabei ein innovatives Herstellungsverfahren: Die Schiene wird anhand von Fotos des anderen, intaken Handgelenkes des Patienten erschaffen. Dank einer patentierten Technologie kann Swibrace in wenigen Minuten das Modell einer Schiene erstellen, die dem verletzten Gelenk perfekt angepasst ist. Sie wird danach in 3D gedruckt und innerhalb von drei Tagen geliefert. W\u00e4hrend des Tragens kann die Schiene je nach Schwellung enger oder breiter gemacht werden. Das Gelenk wird so bis zur Heilung des Knochens optimal gest\u00fctzt und muss nicht mehr operiert werden.\r\n\r\nSwibrace ist momentan auch in der Zertifikationsphase einer neuartigen Behandlungsmethode gegen das Karpaltunnelsyndrom und gegen die Erkrankung schnellender Finger. Sein Team hat ein chirurgisches Instrument in Form einer Nadel entworfen, das mit Hilfe von Ultraschall-Scanning das Handgelenk durch pr\u00e4zise Einstiche komplett entlasten kann. Diese Behandlung bietet wesentliche Vorteile gegen\u00fcber den \u00fcblichen chirurgischen Eingriffen.
